Eurasian Economic Union produces around 1.8 mln tonnes of sugar as of Sept 28, less than last year - industry association

MOSCOW. Sept 30 (Interfax) - Sugar refineries in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) have produced approximately 1.8 million tonnes of beet sugar from the start of the 2026/27 season, which runs from August to July, to September 28, the Eurasian Sugar Association reported.
