Turlov elected FIDE president, Tokayev congratulates

ASTANA. Sept 27 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) – Timur Turlov, president of the Kazakhstan Chess Federation and CEO of Freedom Holding Corp., has been elected the 8th president of FIDE (Fédération Internationale des Échecs), becoming the first Kazakh and the youngest head of the federation in its history.
